it's stupid to drop ashes in a ride like that...don't they know the ashes will be filtered out really quickly? ;) the same is true of any water in the park...they have a pretty good filtration system there...and the flowerbeds aren't a good place either since most of the flowers are in pots so they can be easily replaced once the flowers don't look good anymore...there have been people who drop ashes inside other rides too...the HM is one...but they get swept up almost right away since there's cleaning going on in there all the time...the same for the other rides in the park...in fact, there are very few places that would be good for disposing of a loved one's ashes...so the best thing is to not do it, but it happens more often than people think[/font]

I believe there was a discussion here before. Among other things, it is very dirty, and I don't want someonse ashes blowing in my face when I am on an attraction!
plus I believe a CM stated that when it happens, they have to close the attraction and clean up!

I have heard so many people say "I want my ashes to be put in Disney World". Maybe Disney could create a memorial garden for people do do this instead of them secretly dumping them on rides...ewwwwwwww! Because like Elena said It happens more than people think.

Not to mention that if I saw someone spreading an unknown powdery substance in a crowded park, I would want it stopped quickly!

It's actually more like sand.

True, I assisted in the burial at sea of several military members. BUT a certain portion did, ummm become airborne, resulting in the cleaning of uniforms!
(then again, wind at sea is not like on land!!)

Watch the burial scene in The Big Lebowski.
