the experience, is closing here in Las Vegas. thier most special drink, the Warp Core Breach was given out by the bar before they closed. not as good
as the Pan Galactic Gargle Blaster thou. do not drink this by yourself...
Designed to be consumed by two or more people, the drink consists of 10 ounces of five different flavored rums in roughly equal proportions. Use a little more of the lemon-and-lime rum, a little less of the dark rum and spice rum, and equal measures of raspberry rum and 151. Add to that a splash of Razzmatazz raspberry liqueur (you can probably substitute Chambord, if that's what you have to hand) and some mixed fruit juices.
Then, for the pièce de résistance, add a few chips of dry ice to create the cascading smoke effect. Note: As dry ice is colder than -100° Fahrenheit, it can cause severe skin damage if handled, so be sure to use some tongs. Serve in a large bowl with long straws.

I got to go about a year after opening! Totally worth it!!!
Too bad Disney couldn't "acquire" it!
(never got to try the drinks, as I was in vegas on a working trip and couldn't partake of refreshments that had alcohol!)

The warp core breach was very yummy, I would describe it as an otter pop with alcohol. Looks like I'll have to try one at home. :)

I am a former Paramount Theme Park Employee.. i can tel you that this has been in the works for a while. Paramount is doing this for a few reasons.. one is to retool the Star Trek multi-verse for the new movie. When Paramount sold its parks off... it was to also have the experiance managed by an outside org. unit... that failed.... The Borg could not assimulate this wounderful place....
Ill dig up more on it and get back to you....

A DJ at one of our local stations flew out one morning last week and back that night just to have a last meal there and see it one last time. I always wanted to go. Oh well, I never got to see some attractions at DL and I got over it!

Same here... I even have the Star Fleet emblem tattooed on my left arm..
I have hopes and reservations for the new movie.. With Brannen and Braga out of the picture hopefully it won't get screwed up (at least they won't throw in some lame time-travel stuff every fifteen minutes to cover their own plot holes..)
