I was working Guide 1 the other day and a guest comes up and asks how much the goofy hat is. I tell her the price. She then asks me how much the Mickey Mitts are so I tell her the price. She then asks me if we have a discount for OCD. I look at her puzzled and ask her what OCD is. She tells me Obsessive Compulsive Disorder. I tell her no. She then walks away.
I seem to have a knack for attracting these wierd guests with stupid questions lately.

Gee, if you don't give discounts on merchandise to teacher's, policemen, social worker's, firemen, servicemen, government officials, lawyers, public defenders, doctors, nurses, etc., etc, unless they have a AP, why on earth would she even expect a discount?????? And for OCD? Was she in a wheelchair grasping a SAC???

I've since left the park for a more "cough" satisfying career in the Air Force and am a Firefighter. Its really amazing how many establishments will give me a discount for either being a firefighter or for being in the military. I always ask now where ever I go. It doesn't hurt and who knows, it may help me! :D

Hey now, not all government employees are bad. I used to work for the County of Contra Costa.
... and remember: people who work in public libraries and post offices are government employees too.

What is it with me and encountering these wierd guests lately?
In 1 day I saw 2 guests...the first guest had a t-shirt with a hole cut out just above her cleavage in it. Above the hole said "unbelievable" (or something like that..I forget exactly what it said but it was something to that effect). She was a teenager.
The second guest was an older lady and the neck part of her top was just above her nipples. She bent over to talk to her kid in the stroller and I saw all the way down. Made me wanna puke.

Perhaps her shirt said "unbelievable sh|t" and security told her she couldn't come in with it?...

Only if they are Official officials (not your run of the mill civil servant) and definitely lawyers! My mom used to work for the City of Santa Ana as an office manager in one of their departments, and the stories she told about stuff that went on at city hall made me wonder why the hell our tax dollars get put to any useful purpose at all...you can pass all the ballot initiatives and various freezes you want - these people will find a way to do something they shouldn't be doing (that isn't very important - like redecorating or taking an out of town seminar) at taxpayer expense! :x

Yep! I'm a government employee...I work for the City of San Jose. At least right now I do, the City has decided to accept bids to run the buildings I work in. So around July 1st, I will either still be a City Employee or I will be laid off.
Could I get a discount for STRESS?
