I was just reading this thread (which rather overstated the event in the title--shown above) on another board:
http://mousepad.mouseplanet.com/showthread.php?t=109924
What do you all think of what happened, and the responses posted?

HeHe, I have been reading all those....
Although it was unfortunate, it was no tragedy, and Disneyland has been notified and responded to the OP.
So anyone here have any additional insight?

I won't post this over there, but when Disney Security makes any radio transmissions, they state the time so that if something like this happens, it gets logged and if the people claim Disney took too long or whatever, it's all on tape (or CD, or HD, or whatever). If I had to guess, it probably didn't take as long as they think it did... human perception of time is funny like that.

Stuck in the honey pots? Easy solution. Send in the honey bucket truck.

Too true anywhere. We called for an ambulance and paramedics when a guy we were talking to had a heart attack. it took them less than 10 minutes to respond, in a big city. They family insists it was over 30!

My favorite was this
To address a couple of questions that have come up, I would like to respond. For one, if the honey pots were not to be touched by children then they should not be on the ground for the kids to get to. The honey pots are an interactive area for kids to sit on and be around for pictures. If this is not the case then there should be a sign posting that.
The DEFINITION of an SG in my book. I can't tell you how many people show up in city hall with similar arguments. Let me get this straight: you either let your kid climb on anything that doesn't have a sign expressly stating that it's not for climbing on, OR you weren't watching your kid and a 13 month old was supposed to read a sign. I loved the (assumably CM) who responded to her with the line about "not saying you're a bad parent, but why didn't you use your common sense and tell your kid not to climb on it?" Takes guts to tell the truth over on those boards.

For which that poor poster will be demonized, vilified, and called all sorts of names. Which is why common sense is rare on those boards.

Exactly. I kept reading and they certainly vilified the CM for it. To the point where I just posted something 'cause I felt bad for em. I don't care if they vilify me, I've only posted there twice and the last time was to tell a guest who was complaining about her interaction with ME that she was "misrepresenting what really happened." ;)

Ooh, ooh, do you remember the name of that thread, or have a link? I would love to read that!
