Funny Article! :p:
But yes, I've been tempted to buy some......
especially the ones with the cute Mickey Mouse shaped holes
They would go well with my scrubs!

I love my Crocs! I wear them every day I'm not working. Very comfortable and in the rain I don't have to worry about my shoes getting ruined. I own a pair of black Disney Crocs. Neon green, no thanks I'll wear something a little more discreet than that.

I also only wear them where it is appropriate too. If I dress up I wear real shoes.

Crocs may die as just another fad. Back in October their stock was over $75. Today it's at $4.28. Their only hope is if international sales take off.

On a whim, last trip, I bought a POTC pair of Crocs at DTD. Now I wear them almost all the time on weekends and days off, etc. so much so that the tread is almost gone! (can I get them Re-capped?) guess I'll have to spring for another pair!

They ARE comfortable!

I have crocs as well and they are very comfortable shoes. My back does not hurt as bad when I wear them. I have Black Mickey crocs, navy blue knock-off crocs from Walmart and last week I just bought from Crocs online, a pair of sky blue crocs and a pair of the Mary Jane style crocs with massaging bumps in the inside sole. So when you walk, the bottom of your feet get a massage. Cool. They are the MOST comfortable shoes, even if they are not the most attractive. They beat wearing orthopedic shoes.

And strangely enough, they were worn buy a lot of doctors (the Crocs without holes!) because they were easy to get on and off, and they could be cleaned (and wouldnt get stained with "fluids")

DW remembers seeing a lot of the doctors wearing a green version, that matched the scrubs! but that was a number of years ago, before the current Crocs craze!

Okay, I stopped after two paragraphs. That guy needs to get th stick out of his ass. Who gives him the right to sit there and make fun of people? Crocs have come out with a lot more fashionable styles of late that you can't even tell at first blush are crocs. Heck, I just bought a pair of Crocs Adaras yesterday to use in the classroom. I'm sorry, if I'm on my feet all day I want to be comfortable. I have to have knee surgery tomorrow, and the only shoe that has been recommended to me by other people in my situations is a pair of Crocs. Who cares if I want to be comfortable and it's not the most fashionable thing in the world. Most "high fashion" looks ridiculous anyway. This guy needs to get off of his high horse.

Ya gotta remember that most of the "fashion" (or faSHUN) experts are writing the articles to show people how their opinion is so much better than anyone else's. He wouldn't make any money if he praised something that everyone likes!

A lot of these people equate uncomfortable with high fashion.

The key part of the article was when he said he could have posted it in a blog but sold it instead.

We have a real Crocs store on Front St. in Lahaina. They have a wide selection of shoes that goes way beyond the normal kiosk. The place always has customers.
