Stupid Guest Tricks

Well, I'm not sure how to say this, but here goes.

Ktulu and family will be returning to the Disneyland Resort in October! My wife and I just settled on a hotel (off site) and booked the trip. We're doing 6 days total, but in between I have to geek out in L.A. at a conference. The dates are Oct. 11-19, we'll be at DL on the 11th to ride pirates before the pirates go into rehab. Then I do geeky things with geeky people, then we return on the 15th and finally head home on the 19th. Since we are going to be there for a longer period this time, I plan on at least stopping and saying hi to CM's, especially those I missed last trip! I'll post again as the trip gets closer!

Let's go! I think an invasion of DLR by the Texas chapter of SGT would be awesome! Just get the city to pay for your trip by telling the you have to learn geeky Internet related things at a conference in LA ;)

Yeah, c'mon Wombat, try to get some time off at the time Ktulu and fambly will be at DL and join in a West Coast meet if you can!

Okay, anyone who is interested in meeting at DL on October 11th or 15th (since those seem to be the dates Ktulu will be there.)

Let us know if there are other dates that would work too. start posting your name in this thread. Let's see how many CMs and So Cal SGTer's we can get to meet.

Open to ideas for a restaurant or meet...I think Blue Bayou would be fun, since we all love the Pirates! We could do a ride down the flume on POTC before we eat and then another ride after! Ralph and I can go on POTC over and over again. It is so cool!

This is the official planning thread. Anyone who wants to meet please let us know via this thread. Yeah, after rereading Ktulu's post it,looks like they will be at DL on the 11th and then from the 15th to the 19th. Am I correct Ktulu? We need to pick a tentative date for the meeting and a second choice date. Any ideas, peeps? :)

Yes, we will be in park 10/11, 10/15-10/19. We haven't firmed up any plans yet, and as I mentioned previously, we are just planning on a at least one character breakfast, at our favorite place to eat breakfast with the characters, Plaza Inn!

Yes, 11th is a Saturday, 15th is a Wednesday.

Blue Bayou works for us! We LOVE POTC as well, if you don't mind a 3 year old and a 35 year old singing along and telling Carlos not to be cheeeeeeeeeken!
