Stupid Guest Tricks

Saw a great Sheeple situation today...not once but twice! Mr Syndrome and I were doing Single Rider on EE, and we watched in amusement as a group of FP guests were heading the right way, then suddenly had a wave of confusion as they passed the singles. They had been going the right way, but instead of following the nice, open path, they started pushing on the ropes of the Single Rider line in confusion and then sudden'y started to go under the ropes till one found a rope to open. So Sheeple Group comes into Single, followed by all the rest of the FP people who had lined up behind them! Finally a CM came and sent them back on their way and closed the rope.

The next time around, it happened again! This time, we had FPs and had two groups walking in front of us. The lead group suddenly got possessed by the same demons that had gotten the earlier people and stopped dead at single riders, then went under the ropes. The people in front of us followed them! We continued on our way down the proper line, shaking our heads and fearing for the future of humanity.

I guess the Yeti has now mastered mind control...

SHEEPLE! I love that, gotta remember it. We just called them cows. When I went to WDW with my buddy Joe we were waiting for Illuminations, we were camping out on of the front row bench's between the twin gift shops, theres a stage area there thats roped off. Someone knocked one of the ropes down and people started crowding onto the stage so joe went and found a CM to call security (we had been there before and knew the stage area was closed and they would rope off the area in front of the bench's for the show) Well, Security showed up and fixed the rope and started moving people off the stage but every time he turned his back more people would climb over the ropes behind him and try to sit down on the stage. We were just ROFL at this, the poor security CM was almost running back and fourth chasing people off the stage. As soon as he moved one group there was another to move and Joe made the comment they were like cows, they see one grooup in an area so they just follow, but sheeple is so much of a better way of describing them.

Sheeple. Love it. Yes, we used to call people sheep who would wait in line for tickets in half a queue when 12 other windows were open just 10 steps away!!! I swear, people see a line and just think that that is where they have to wait. Sometimes it was hard for Guest Control CM to move SG to open windows just steps away!
One SG was waiting directly behind a guest at a ticket window. I tried to get her to take a couple steps back to the queue so she would be able to see when the next window was open. No, she insisted that she was fine there. That's when I started moving guests lined up behind her to open windows. She then couldn't understand why I let other people lined up behind her go ahead of her. Uh, SG, I asked you to step back, but no, you insisted your way was better. So now, you can wait.
Or, my personal favorite, when guests started forming their own line at the last window when there was a queue of guests waiting in the chains. I hated working that window. I had to constantly tell guests that they needed to line up in the queue, and that I couldn't help them, that they were cutting in line. "But I've been waiting in line for 10 minutes here." No, you have not been waiting in line, you have just been waiting!!!!

Yoda and Yeti both start with "Y" and have the same number of letters. You will also notice that a Flux Capacitator has a mechanism that looks very much like a "Y" so it may have mind control capabilities as well.

I thought that the flux capacitor in use was called "fluxing" which is like "flocking", which is what sheeple do!

of course, you can always tell the sheeple to get the flock outta the wrong line!

I was pretty flocking happy they went the wrong way since they were in front of me. Got me on the ride all the flocking quicker.
