I think thats what its called, the parade on the lake that goes by MK. I have never seen it and thought I might try to see it on my trip, does it run every night? what time? and wheres a good place to view it from?
Also, on Friday Oct 31st, I'm planning on grazing my way around world showcase, I did the Food & Wine festival a few years ago and had fun (I dont like wine so its beers from around the world for me, and I promise not to get shit faced and obnoxious) so if anyone wants to join me PM me and we can make arrangements to meet up. I'm thinking of starting around 1 or 2 in the afternoon and taking my time, seeing some of the shows and ending the night with illumination.
Thanks
Steve

The Electrical Water Pageant...it goes around the lake from the Grand Floridian to the Poly and Contemporary and Wilderness Lodge every night. It goes by the Poly at 9PM. It is cool for the first couple times, then that music gets annoying coming through the window every night! ;) It is purty tho. It happens at the same time as fireworks sometimes and then when you are watching from the beach at the Poly, you have all this *stuff* happening at once! ;) It did for us at least a couple times in May. I heard that dang parade EVERY night even with the windows closed from the Poly Hawaii longhouse, (facing the lagoon right right across the path from the water).
Here is a link with some pics of the water *floats*

last time I was there, I managed to get some of it on a video! It's something that we look forward to every trip!

Last time I was there, we accidentally caught the parade from the California Grill. We had a window seat, so it was perfect for the fireworks and, probably because we take our time when we eat, it was also perfect for the Electrical Water Pageant. It looks neat from up high. (unfortunately, I've got a crappy little digital camera, so none of my pics of that turned out decently :rolleyes :)

Something about that name just doesn't sound right.

I was driving under the water bridge by the Contemporary as it was going over. Kind of a neat perspective on the parade. The dragon was going over just as I drove under! :D:

Unfortunatly I wont be staying at the Poly, its pop for me, not like ill spend a lot of time in the room anyway. Is there a good place near MK to see it where I will be out of the way of traffic flow? or should I go to one of the resorts like the Poly to watch? and will they ley me down to the beach even though Im not a guest at that resort?
Thanks

Head down to the beach of one of the resorts. That's what I've done to see it. They won't stop you from going down to the beach even if it was possible to do so (the area is to wide open). I've seen Wishes from the Poly beach and the Water Pageant from the ferry dock at the Big Toaster.
The MK is not a good place to see it I would think There's not any good place to stand and most nights the pageant doesn't go by the park.

I love that little parade, I even love the hokey music. We've watched it from the boat dock behind the Toaster and also from the dock at Wilderness Lodge in the freezing cold of January, hugging the pilings to block the cold wind blowing in off the lake.
