at least that's what I hear... :D:

So, a big reason I've not been around for a while is that my current job has been sapping all my strength (both physical and mental) and makes me not want to get out of bed in the morning (or ever), let alone spend time on a computer when I'm *not* at work...

So I finally got in touch with my boss after a few weeks of trying and, long story short, he agreed that this office doesn't seem like a very good fit for me. He said he had been wondering about the less than glowing reports he's been receiving about my performance here as that's quite out of the ordinary based on the three other jobs I've done for the same company. Further, he agreed to look for another place for me and it sounds like he's going to do it quickly.

I'm super happy as I absolutely dread going to work on a daily basis as the situation stands. I can't wait to go back to a situation where the level of customer service I provide actually counts for something and where, at the end of the day, I can have a little job-satisfaction from feeling like I actually accomplished something during my day.

Anyway, I'll add more later (maybe even some specifics about the type of crap that happens in your government--I'm sure most of you won't be too surprised...saddened, but not surprised) but in the mean time, I want you all to know that I've missed you as I've missed all the other things in my life that used to make me happy.

It's good to be back...in so many different ways! :D:

Ahh, Big Wombat and BR Wallaby ;) How I've missed the friendly marsupial competition/interplay. You two are hilarious and valued friends.

My only question: where the heck did Big Wallaby's pants go? (I do love the new avatar, though...it's just not the same without the purple pants)

Well, as he hasn't worn purple pants in months it wouldn't be fitting for his avatar to. His avatar does need new pants though, some nice maroon colored ones.

Hey stranger! Sorry I havent been in touch, I cleared out my PM box and forgot your info was in there. Thanks again for the help with the hard drive. We wound up buying a new one till we can get some more help retrieving more pics, so there it sits collecting fuzz balls. (not really, more like a paperweight) Thanks again. Hope things go well with the new position.
