WDW CT Status Question

This is probably one of the most out-there questions ever asked. Heck, call it an SCMT if you want, but I just came across some stuff that just screams opportunity, eh?
Anyways, I was just reading over some stuff I've found in various places and, as I understand it, WDWs CTs system operates very differently then DLR, we require our CTs to be Fully available for our peak seasons (Spring Break, Summer, Thanksgiving, and Christmas/New Year).
However, as I understand it, WDW apparently only requires its' CTs to be available for training; and then only mandates that the work a certain number of days per year, varying based upon the role.
This is very interesting. As you might know, I've had somewhat of an interest in moving over to Florida sometime in the near future. However, until that can come to pass, this might be an interesting alternative. I could theoretically obtain a CT role at WDW, and then take vacations from the DLR during our off-season and pick up shifts over there. Make it a work-cation, lol.
I just wanted to see if my understanding of the CT season over there was correct, and if this was possible. Is it a pipe dream? Of course it is, lol :D: . But is this not the Year of a Million Dreams, after all :p: ?
