I heard broderbund is going to bring back Carmen Sandiego.
thats just scary, they must really need the money to allow this to go on.
and she has been everywhere, all over the world, and time and space too.
games and cartoons and live shows. what's next? carmen robs the devil?
I can just see the title now, Where in the hell is Carmen Sandiego...

I didn't know they were rereleasing the Oregon Trail! I hope the tombstone still reads: "Here lies andy, peperony and chease."
What a classic game! Where else can you get your friends to die of dysentary and lose your oxen trying to ford the river?

Oregon Trail?! That's an ancient game! I remember playing it on a (what would be now) a very old computer and it was on floppy disks (the actually floppy variety).

Now showing my age - I taught elementary school computer classes and that was our usual assignment for the kids: to play Oregon Trail for the entire period.

Same here.. I work as the Tech guy for an "Educational Technology Training Center" (it was a co-op between the state Dept. of Education and most of the state University Systems..)
Oregon Trail was one of the things to train them on as well as Amazon Trail (I liked it better.. It was harder than Oregon Trail..)
Yes, sadly instructing these teachers and soon to be teachers how to load the game was part of my tech support responsibilities (especially the one who had to be shown, repeatedly how to do it.. )
