Short Trip Report

Managed to finagle a trip to Busch Gardens Williamsburg on Tuesday. Lots of fun.
The only real SGT I experienced was when I was in line in front of complaining woman who was decrying guest relations, "the lady behind the counter asked me how she could help me. Well, they sent me over to her, she should know what I needed." Yup, because Busch Gardens is hiring telepaths this summer.
I admit I did ask the folks running the Rhine River Cruise (a gentle boat ride on a river, not on a track) if the ride went upside down. I just couldn't help myself. The poor guy didn't know how to answer. Luckily, the other guy in line was quick and answered "yeah, the boats turn upside down, and dunk you in the river. Better watch your cell phone."
It was overall a fun experience. It was obvious that schools had just let out and that kids had just started their summer jobs though. Tsk to the girl who not only didn't know where package pickup was, she didn't know WHAT it was. Worse, it was only two doors down. Ah well, she'll figure it out after she gets asked it a hundred million times in the next two weeks.
