Subject: OR????
i was working the guest services window out side DL last saturday
night. a guest came to my window wanting to know why his tickets
werent valid to get into DL. i asked where he had gone and he said
hehad been to dca that morning and now wanted to go to DL. I asked
to see his tickets and noticed that they are the ones we sell to
colleges and unions that are discounted and are good for entry into
one theme park. It says clearly on the ticket "Tickets good for one
admission to Disneyland Park OR Disney's California Adventure
Park." This guest wanted to argue with me because he thought that
the above stament meant that he could park hop with the tikcet he
had. i explained to him that indeed he could not and that the only
way he could go to DL for the rest of the day was to buy an
admission like everyone else. He then proceeded to yell at me about
how that was fraud and that Michael Eisner could afford to let him
into the park. He went so far as to yell at my manager about the
same thing and instead of getting anything for causing this scene he
got the number for guest communications. what some people wont do
to get things for free.

OR?
I have to stop and wonder if this type of guest tries the same technique at other places. For instance, let's say that McDonald's has a promo where you can get a Big Mac value meal OR a Qtr Pndr value meal for $2.99. Would the guest demand the Qtr Pndr meal, after eating the Big Mac meal, saying that McDonald's can afford to give him both for the same price? I doubt it. It must be something about Disney that makes people think they can get whatever they want, throwing all common sense out the window. :!:

Seemed to happen a lot at Disney, but trust me, dopes are everywhere. At the hotel I work for I had a lady argue with me for 15 minutes. She had purchased a Birthday Package that included the room, pizza, soda, a gift bag, free movie etc for $239 and she was trying to convince me that she should get the AAA discount rate for that ($116.10). I tried explaining to her that it was two different packages. She could have either the birthday package OR the AAA rate with no goodies. Long story shorter she called the Corporate complaint line, who then called me since I manage the hotel and asked me to contact the guest....and I came back out and told the guest thanks for the call, no, LOL!
