For Any Of You Interested In "Vintage" Era Park Photos

For all you old-timers that may have worked at Knott's (or historians like myself who researched certain attractions back to their birth-dates), I found an old site full of original/vintage shots of what the park used to look like, along with several shots of my ride: The Calico Mine Ride.
Other photos include Gay's Lion Farm in El Monte, Cawston Ostrich Farm in Pasadena, Universal Studios (Circa 1960's), and the now defunct Movieland Wax Museum, which was right near Knott's. It then carries on to 1960's shots of Los Angeles, Hollywood, NorCal, and even Death Valley. Quite honestly just a random collection of very old vintage pictures. If you'd like to see what the California of Yesteryear looked like, check this site out.

It was really neat for me to find the cache of old Mine Ride shots. Mine Ride was my favorite attraction to work on, and it's really cool to see what it looked like back in the day. And I won't be surprised if this topic sinks like a dead rock...but hey, I tried.
