Maybe TMs Should Make Therapist Wages

We rode the Simpsons ride for the first time yesterday. Did it twice and tried for a third, but several of the cars were broken and after half an hour the Express line was going nowhere fast so we bailed. Very cool ride tho' so we'll be returning soon.
The second time around some of the cars weren't working, so the line was going rather slow. We get inside, get assigned to a room, and see that there are nine of us and eight seats (there were two small doppleganger kidlets that I suspect somehow got counted as one). The rest of the people in the room all had attitude rolling off them like B.O. so we just backed out and explained the situation to a TM and got popped back into a count-off line...no biggie.
A TM starts sending people in the other count-off lines to their rooms, and some guy launches into a tirade about how he had gotten there first and how dare they send those other people before him. I think tempers were short due to it being a hot day and a long wait in general, made longer by ride malfunctions, so more SGs started complaining along with him. A TM was trying to explain that they had limited vehicles running but the SGs didn't seem to care.
Finally I snapped at the originator (who was also the loudest whiner): "If anyone could complain, it's us because we've been waiting her longer than any of you. Our room got miscounted so we had to come back. But what's the big deal? It's just not something worth complaining about!"
It probably went right over their heads; I dunno because we got sent into another room at that point. But why do SGs think yelling at TMs is going to make anything better? Yes, it was hot outside (although you're in air conditioning now) and yes, it's a long wait (but you chose to get into line), and yes, it's longer because of technical difficulties (but it's a ride...mechanical...new...and things break down...plus they had a warning recording playing in the queue line). I'm not sure what Mr. SG hoped to accomplish by inciting everyone around him... maybe a TM with a magic fix-it wand?
Maybe the TMs should get a therapist's hourly wage since they're performing a similar function...listening to people whining and venting. Maybe I'm just weird, but I don't see the purpose in getting bent out of shape over waiting another ride cycle or two.
