Disney has had Wall-E out here and there in LA recently.

I love they are using the same synth for his voice that was used in the movie.
Go WALL-E!

I am counting down the days until Wall-E comes out- already have several of the action figures and have told my husband that if we can possibly track it down, that I am going to NEED to get an Ultimate Wall-E. . .

Even changed my sig a little while back in honor of my favorite Waste Allocation Load Lifter, Earth class!

If it's anything like the trailer. . .this is going to be absolutely amazing. Just the trailer makes me cry. . .when he cries out "Ev-ah!!!!"

They had a little Wall-E maquette in a case at the Animation building at the Studios when we were there last month and we snapped a pic- will post it as soon as I can upload it to my blog. I couldn't believe my husband got it to take without glare from the flash on the case. . .

You know they are going to be selling an actual remote control Wall-E. about a foot and and half high. So cute. It was featured at a toy fair and they video I found on youtube said it would retail for about $179.00. Way too pricey for me but Meghyn says she wants one. I love the hula hoop commercial.

I saw that video, so adorable!!!! That's the "Ultimate Wall-E" I want sooo badly. It's usually beyond me to spend so much on something like that but with the 12 year old in the house to share it with- I'm already saving up for one. My worry is that I won't be able to find one because all the dealers will snatch them up retail and then list them on Ebay before the holidays :( I wish I could get on a waiting list.

Far as your little one goes, TRU has an adorable, smaller 'interactive' Wall-E, my husband got me one for my birthday- it's precious. He's only about 30.00 and he 'talks' when you talk to him, gets 'scared' if he hears a loud noise (our racket-making dishwasher scared him like crazy) and if you talk to him in a higher-pitched, especially female tone, he says "Ooo, E-vah!" All three of us are totally smitten by him. The cat, however, is still reserving judgement.

Here's the promised pic of the model. . .I haven't been this excited for a movie since before Curse of the Black Pearl came out. I rarely, RARELY go to movies at the theater- this one, I will HAVE to.

I'll wait for mine to show up at the property control trailers.

Count me as another craving the opening of WALL*E though he does bring back memories of Johny 5.

A remote controlled WALL*E would be great fun with the hell hounds

My miniature schnauzer would have it disemboweled in ten minutes.

Cool, I will have to look for it when the tax stimulus comes in and put it away for Xmas. The closest Toys R Us is about 1.5 hours away so, I will probably order if offline. How big is it? SO it is kinda like a Furby, but way less annoying??? :D:

Planner, I said the same thing to my hubby when I first saw Wall-E- that his eyes especially reminded me of Johnny 5 and I wondered if somebody got royalties on that lol. Though I do think Wall-e is much cuter with his little voice and all- (if Ben Burtt doesn't win an Oscar for the sound on this there is no justice. All the original 'bot' sounds, amazing.) But then seeing the big one-sheet with him staring up at the stars at the entrance to the MK on our recent trip may have forever made me biased. It was a starry night and it almost looked like Wall-E was really looking up into the stars. I'm such a hopelessly patheticly soft soul, the trailer and the poster both make me cry!

Vix here's a link to the interactive one at TRU online- steer clear of Ebay the prices are already WAY inflated! more than double retail!

Interactive Wall-E Only things I would change about him is that he's very loud volume wise with no way to adjust it and also, he only says about six things. But we still love him to bits, my kid loves to play with it as much as I do. He sits right next to the computer, in fact.

Sharper image has a little MP3 player attaching one too that is adorable. I could so seriously go broke putting a little Wall-E in every room of my house.

Wall-E is cute, no argument there. But I want one of these:
