Jungle Cruise shirts

Hey guys, I've been a long time lurker here, can't remember if I've made any posts on here or not, but just rediscovered the site and the fact that I already have an account here. Anyways, I'm a former skipper of the World Famous Jungle Cruise, and had one of them moments where I was sitting around bored and started playing around with a design. And then it dawned on me, this would look awsome on a shirt! So, I went and made a few more designs, and put them up in a shop on cafepress. The shop is fairly new and I'd like to hear your thoughts on the designs, any comments or suggestions on if they need changed or improved, or any ideas for future designs. I was planning on having general CM shirts done later, but wanted to add more jungle designs. Shop link is here:

The are nice but the one thing you have to watch is copywrite. Disney is very protective of their copywrites as they should be and I wouldnt be suprised if you didnt hear from them on at least the back side of water design.
Good luck
Steve

I'm quite aware of the copywrite situation, lol. I've made sure to not use any official characters in my design (although the mermaid looks pretty darn close to some other red headed mermaid . . .) and the other designs are from the jungle, just horribly photoshopped of course :P If they have any issues with them, I'll take them down and point out a few other designs made by another CM that use the same image or idea (backside of water.) Hopefully I'll be fine and hold the unofficial Jungle Cruise gift shop that was supposted to be located in the temple but the boat never makes it's stop there, so it wound up online :)

Glad to see you made your way over here.
Part of the marsupial welcoming committee has already welcomed you so you are now official.
Oh and feel priveledged, not everyone gets the non-default smilies from me. I am too lazy to look for them :D:

I think if there ever was a problem, they'd ask for me to remove it before they take any further action, right? I doubt there would be any problems with them, but if there were, I'd pull them off as soon as they would say so. I'm not using their stuff to make a profit, just to provide some die-hard jungle fans with shirts they've been looking for when they get off the ride, lol.

Well, HOWDY! Interesting to see a familiar face here. I've always loved reading through the site, glad to have found it again. It was in my favorites list all this time but the link there was dead, but at least it told me the name of the site, lol! Wow, I feel honored to have hardly ever used smilies, and some custom made marsupial smilies too, nice touch ;)

Not always. They don't have to. They can just sue you if they want. There's no law requiring a warning first.
