Oldest age to wear costumes?

Just recently, I had seen two grown women in full princess dresses at the Magic Kingdom. Is this a new thing now? I know that only children 10 and under can wear costumes to the Parks. The first woman looked as if she went to the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique and got the whole she-bang, Snow White gown and all. Second woman was in a long pink princess dress with a crown and wand, she was fixing her hair in the bathroom mirror.

Did they have kids around? or maybe they were meeting their famlies for a P&P experience?

DW and I are consider going to a MNSSHP our next trip, and are trying to figure out if we want to wear a costume, and just WHAT we should go as...

Every Halloween or MNSSHP I wear what I've always wear. costume I made almost 10 years ago personally: Ghostbuster uniform (no pack).

For special events such as P&P or Halloween, adults are allowed to wear costumes. On the day of I think they also can in that park. However, during normal days adults are not allowed to. If an adult wears a costume that looks like a Disney costume (this is especially true for Star Wars Weekends) during a sanctioned event they have to agree to not pose for pictures or sign autographs as a Disney character. If an adult shows up in a costume during a regular day they are supposed to be directed to change clothing. I'm surprised they weren't.

Maybe they popped in from Andalasia! Just don't let them start vocalizing to enlist the local creatures to help clean up or start singing about True Love's Kiss..... :p:

Was it during a special event (mnsshp or P&P)? If not, adults can not be in costumes in the parks.

Hmmm, is that right? I mean, obviously no one will mistake me for Belle or Alice, but I don't see the harm in it.

I know it sounds silly, but there are times when I get in that mood that I would like to go to Disneyland dressed like a character. I have seen teenagers wearing the princess costumes.

Will you get stopped at the front gate and not let in? How does it work? Cause you know, I sense a challenge in my future.

What if it is a disabled adult dressed up? How do you handle that?

Yeah, it would be fun to dress as a Princess, and I am pretty sure that NO one is going to mistake the overweight, middle-aged woman in the wheelchair as one of the *real* Princesses! ;)

Personally I would love to dress as Belle for one day and get treated as Belle, (after Beast's transformation of course) for one day. Ahhhhhhhhhh...I can dream, right. :belleg:

Yes. If you are an adult, and you are dressed in costume, you will not be allowed into the parks (unless it is for one of the special parties).

WELL, there is nothing that says you can't decorate your wheelchair like a throne, is there?

Then you could just tell everyone you are dressed like a commoner, to be able to mingle with all of the "little people" that make up your kingdom!
