Last time there was only 4 of us so we are slowly going to be just one.

I'll have to let you know... But be assured you'll never be just 1 at the meetup... Sounds so depressing...Think positive...

Bet is on that I win and really do not want to drag a few nice people out just to entertain me.
The computer is at 89% memory full and sluggish, sigh, need a repair man next month, never seen the memory this bad.

Delete unneeded files and empty trash. You need to free up some swap space.

Hobie, I see ROY is visiting. (One of my favorite movies) even though the ripped the title of the move from another story!

Did you run a virus check? Defragment your hard drive?
Here's something someone on another forum shared. He says your computer will breathe a sigh of relief when you do this. Assuming, of course, you're using Windows.
First: If you aren't sure if a file is good or not, go to:
http://www.filenet/process/index.html
Hopefully you've written down all the questionable files. You take the file addresses, put them in the search field (one at a time, of course), and this will tell you the risk of it being a bad file, etc.. Mark off the dangerous files from your list.
Second: Start--> Run --> type "prefetch" in field --> control +A--> delete. The control plus A will highlight the files, so if there are files you want to keep, highlight only the junk files. Though actually I dump all of them.
Third: To shorten start-up time, Start--> Run --> "msconfig"--> Start up.
Hope this helps.

Hey Churchy! Contact CLBeilby via PM, He says he'd like to arrange an appointment so he can help your computer.

I did the defragment and that helped so it is down to 6 gigabites. as for the prefetch thing, not trying that yet. As for the appointment, money is tight and there is now more memory and a bit better but IE is still having fits.
So where is the next meeting?

May 3rd at 7 pm at Outback restaurant
I waited and nobody is interested. I am looking for cheap eats but want fun and good time but offsite and gluten free.
