Stupid Guest Tricks

Ok, every trip to DLR I have someone I note to be an SG and report it...This time it's me!
Hubby got off work not early but not too late so we got there in time to possibly see Fantasmic! and Fireworks after dinner, just would have to upgrade kid's AP to deluxe like hubby's and mine, right?! So we go to Guest Services and ask for the upgrade....
GS CM-"Well, I can't get him in today with an upgrade...."
Me-"Huh? Why not?"
GS CM-"Because today is a BLOCKOUT DAY!"
DOH! How totally embarassing, I must not have read things correctly...*Sigh*
I asked her to tell Pattimelt that an SG said Hi! and left red-faced

On a brighter note, I got to see little Tammy eat it when she lost balance because of her Heelys in the Space Mountain queue(thankfully not hurt, that would make me upset, so it was a best-case scenario)....Too bad Dad didn't get it on video, he was too busy videotaping everything else while in line including the beginning of the "ride"...I thought he would end up losing hold of his camera and it would smack me in the face...

I don't think that would qualify you as an SG. A TRUE SG would insist that "another" CM told you that it was okay to upgrade today and let her in the park! (plus give you "head of the line" passes!!)

Glad the kid wasn't hurt, but funny how sometimes life does do an adjustment!

Thanks, Grumpy, but I sure did FEEL stupid! I supposedly know EVERYTHING about Disney...... Big time teased by Hubby!
