Cheerleaders Invading Again?

I was hoping to get to the parks next week when the crowd calms down, but now I have to rethink that. We went to Chevy's (Lake Buena Vista) for lunch today and it was overrun with cheerleaders. They're just as bad there as at the parks. As I approached the door, they were just about blocking it by doing a pyramid...WTF? They finally disassembled since they were blocking traffic, and we elbowed our way through them. There were several groups inside, and when we came out there was a mess of them all sitting on the little bushes along the parking lot (again, WTF?) while a mom was taking their pic. One was whining that the bushes were scratching her legs (they were in their skimpy little costumes). Well, duh, you probably shouldn't be standing in/crushing the landscape. At least they didn't break into cheers inside the restaurant.

I'm sure the mom will complain to Chevy's so that the offending scratching shrubbery will be remove!

I haven't seen any crazy cheerleaders in the MK lately. The only ones I've seen was a cheer squad performing in the Galaxy Place Theatre the other day. They were there officially too. I haven't seen any in the parks doing anything crazy.

Ok, which of you locals finally gave into temptation and now has 600 cheerleaders chained in your basement with multiple layers of duct tape over their mouth?

Or maybe someone got smart and bribed their hairdressers to give them all "a bad hair day". Maybe a transverse-reverse mohawk, a shaved stripe from ear to ear. That would keep them away from the parks for quite a while.

That last one made me laugh. Could you imagine them going into a Burger King? Sorry girls, you can have it your way. "Please stay away from the little kids play ground." "Plus, the kids meals don't have real make-up." ;)

Well they are everywhere!! DW and I were at a Kohls today, and as we rounded an isle, there was a junior cheerleader in her outfit!!

She was following her mom around, and yes, she was whining!!!! (the cheerleader, not the mom!)
