Subject: DS Stupid guests


Hope it's OK to post some Disney Store stupid guest tricks. I had a
guest ask me what happened to the Tweety Bird watch that we had on
display in the case. Very nicely explained to her it's a different
company but don't feel bad cuz lots of people confuse us thinking all
animation is Disney. But she kept insisting that she saw it in our
store. She then proceeded to ask other CMs in the store to confirm
it. Geez like I was clueless or something.

Reminds me of a guest that I had one time that insisted that we had a
panning for gold attraction in Frontierland a few years ago. When I
told him that there was never a panning for gold attraction at
Disneyland, there was one at Knott's which he was probabally the one
he was thinking of. He then insisted that it was not at Knott's and
it was at Disneyland...he asked a nearby security officer who
confermed exactly what I had told him. He then went back to his
family and told them that we must have "gotten rid of it".

That's so annoying when guests ask those stupid questions! Then when you tell them no, they go to another cast member and ask the same question! This past holiday it was like, "Do you have Swan Lake Barbie", no...that's not Disney...and they move onto the NEXT CM and ask the same question! It's funny...but sometimes annoying!
