Stupid Guest Tricks

Best known for his role as a police chief in the blockbuster hit Jaws, Roy Scheider died at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences hospital. He was 75.

Ah darn!!! He was a good guy!!! Besides jaws: Marathon Man, 2010, Blue Thunder, All That Jazz... and so on!!

I used to run into him all the time at the AMC PI when they were filming SeaQuest down here. He was at the movies nearly every weekend. He always seemed nice on the set of SQ too. They filmed at Sea World right behind where I performed as a puppeteer and they frequently had catered food left over after filming that they offered us. He and many of the other cast members would always say hello if you passed them in the back areas of the park.

I enjoyed Sea Quest. I always wondered where they filmed that. Yes, this is a sad passing, but now he can join Quint and discuss other ways of killing sharks...

He and that dolphin had such great on-screen chemistry! seaQuest died when he left.
