Overheard today at the beauty shop...SG!!

I was getting my nails done this morning and a few of us were discussing one lady's recent visit to WDW, and how it would be great to get a job at Walt Disney World, when the recent returnee said, "You know, all the people who work at WDW, ALL the cast members, are all in the union, and they all have this incredible benefits package."
Same lady also said, "We took a DVC tour and almost bought in to Saratoga Springs." I mentioned there were several other DVC resorts and her response was, "Oh no, Saratoga Springs is the only DVC resort."
After gently attempting to correct several mis-statements she had already made, I finally gave up and let her ramble.

You do know that all that hair dye can make you ditzy. LOL
I know it was a nail salon but still...
We always said to my older DD (whom everytime I see her has a different hair color or variation of colors) when she had those ding dongy thots that it was the Loriel talking.
Speaking of Nail Salons tho. I no longer can shop at one of my favorite stores at the mall because the little nail salon that used to be tucked away in the corner decided they wanted a bigger shop and moved right next door to my party supply store that I like. I walked in the beginning of the month to see if they had something for Meghyn's party and could barely finish asking the girl before I had to leave. OMG, the smell in there was AWFUL! I started getting ill to my stomach and I seriously could not breathe. I went back to the car wheezing.
What was weird was there was no smell at all outside in the mall corridor or at the very front of the party supply store but as soon as you stepped within 10-15 feet in it hit you like a ton of bricks.
I would mention it to the mall management but these are the ppl whom when the trick or treating was at the mall could not figure out how or where to line ppl up.

Everyone (who had been before) wound up taking over for the mall lady

I mean really how hard is it to speak up (no one could hear her a few feet away) and say stand here to start.

Not like she didnt know what to do I have seen her at ToTreat for the past 3 years prior.
Now back to stupid comments heard at nail salons.

She was getting her nails done, but those chemicals are as strong smelling as the hair stuff, so maybe that's part of the problem. ;)
Yes, she sounded very sure of herself and that is exactly how those stupid rumors get passed along. Gee, she just got back from WDW so she must know what she's talking about.

I regularly color my hair, and Revlon at least doesn't have much discernable odor. One time I did use L'Oreal, and though the conditioner made my hair feel incredibly soft, like a baby's, the color gave my hair this horrific weird smell for weeks!
One time I passed a hair salon just as a lady was getting a perm, they were just putting the chemicals on, and it nearly knocked me over, it stank so bad!
Thank God that all I have to do to get curly hair is wash it, and wait for a rain storm to come through!
