I think I am losing my mind...

I was having a dream last night that I was working at Image. I was loading a train and while I was kicking the doors closed and it started moving. I gave the hold signal to dispatch and the train was still moving. All of a sudden there is an e-stop because the train wouldn't stop after a station stop. I was wondering where this dream came from and then I remember reading the worldwide safety FWW attractions sheet about safety issues in our area. One of them was that at Image the trains would glide to a stop as opposed to stop immediately without an e-stop. How did that subliminally enter my dream? And why am I having dreams about work at school? I think I've lost it...

I've had similar things happen. Like the dream where someone goes over on the croc bridge. I've had it repeatedly now. I am getting more used to it...

Years and years and years ago I worked for the phone company. For the first three months I was there I'd wake up in the middle of the night hearing Princess telephones ringing. Aaarrrrgggghhhhhhhhhh!!!

Well, use it to your advantage, and figure out a plan of action if that ever happens in real life!! That way you won't be hesitant, and already know what you could do to prevent a problem!!

When I first started coordinating and having to wear a radio earpiece at all times, I would go home at the end of the day, lie down, and still hear the radio in my ear. Most notably, the tones from Control when they're about to dispatch an Alpha unit. Then once I finally stopped hearing the tones in my dreams, I started to get nightmares about having Alpha units show up and never being able to find the guest that needed their assistance.
(at my current location, we have our own frequency, and we don't hear the tone-outs from Control. Which is both a hassle and a relief, because although I'm no longer hearing the tones in my sleep, now I never know when there's an alpha responding to my area)
(and yes, KSR had it's own frequency, but there were enough people on that frequency to merit them issuing tone-outs on the KSR frequency, as well as the park ops frequency)

I still freak out when I hear a bell like the one that means "Matterhorn is 101".
And whenever I hear the Electrical Parade music I want to grab a flashlight and wave it. And it's been xx years!

When I first started working at Knott's, I would go home, and I could still hear crowds of people talking, kids laughing, and other crowd sounds. I mean, I would be in my bathroom and hear this stuff, and I'd wonder where it was coming from. Really freaky. And of course in my dreams I was back at the park. I swear they use mind control over there at Knott's even though I (thankfully) don't work there anymore.

I'm interested to see how many people have work-related dreams tonight as a result of this thread. Please feel free to reply.

I used to have dreams when I did tech support. I even answered my phone one morning "Thank you for calling $ISP support."
