Stupid Guest Tricks

I just got called by the nursing home she was living in and was told that she was found unresponsive in bed. They began CPR and called EMS but couldn't bring her back.

I just made the kind of phone call nobody likes making, had to call my brother to let him know.

I probably won't be on the board much for the next couple days at least.

Oh my goodness, I'm sorry for your loss :( .

At least you can take comfort in knowing she's now in a better place.

I'm very sorry to hear about that, and your loss. I don't care to imagine it. After you get done dealing with this, if you need a day or two to detox and can find yourself in the Orlando area, let me know. While I won't guarantee anything, you know what I am saying.

Thanks, everybody. I'm doing fine. My brother and his wife will hopefully make it in tonight and tomorrow afternoon we have an appointment at the funeral home to make arrangements. All of the local and close family and friends that aren't local have been contacted and the other relatives are being contacted.

Our pastor has been by already between services and a close friend is here helping out. In a few minutes I'm heading out to let some people know who were good neighbors when I was growing up. They'd like to know personally and not from the obituary (sp?).

BW, thanks for the offer. I would love to make it down there for a few days but I don't see it happening anytime soon. I can't afford time off from work and am going to miss enough due to this.
