There's an old saying that celebrities go in threes, but by George, there have been alot of threes lately! At this rate, you have to wonder if there'll be anyone left to act in new shows when the writer's strike ends.

Really liked her when she was doing the newheart show, and of course all the Disney movies! I guess that she was pretty sick, but kept mostly out of the press about it.

I remember Suzanne Pleshette was in the Disney movie, "Blackbeard's Ghost", back in the mid-60s. Funny how I read the book as well as saw the movie, and the book had two boys wandering through the Boar's Head Tavern that Blackbeard had built, during the course of which they found a scroll with the writings of a witch named Adelpha Stowcroft. It was a spell to bring Blackbeard back. The story ends with the tavern being saved from demolition, Blackbeard of course went back to Hell, but he dug up some money he'd hidden so he could buy back his tavern in order to keep it from being torn down for a gas station. He paid the current owner--a descendent of the man who'd killed him.
The movie starts with a man attending an auction held by the descendents of Blackbeard's crew, and he buys an antique bedwarmer. When he gets to his hotel room, the handle breaks off the bedwarmer, and inside the handle is the scroll with the spell. He says it out loud, and poof! There's Blackbeard! Blackbeard proceeds, in typical screwball comedy style, to make this guy's life hell. Unfortunately, I don't remember the ending. But Suzanne Pleshette played the guy's love interest.

I have a copy of that feline. Totallly different storylines. I actually enjoyed the book more. Donnie on the other hand likes the movie more. LOL
