Stupid Guest Tricks

Are they going to enclose the tram cars, and that will take over for the monorail while it is being refurbished?

That's a tram engine but looks to be a different design from the one's used at WDW. It looks more rounded than the normal ones. I'm assuming it is the kind that DL uses from BW's comment but what it is doing in Florida I don't know. Maybe they are working on replacing the tram engines. You can see the normal tram cars in the background.

What monorail refurb? They just got done not that long ago with refurbing the interiors of the trains.

Edit: It is a different design from the WDW ones.


Edit again: And a little more Googling shows that BW's picture is of a DL tram.

It is one of ours.

How it got to Florida, I have no clue. They might very well be replacing WDW's trams with the model we use out here. I did notice when I was there that the trams seem to be a bit more squeeky than ours. Maybe they might be approaching the end of their usefullness and the time is coming to replace them??

And just to be one of those guys, yes, that is a DL tram.

Actually, from what I understand, our current crop of trams were already hand-me-downs from the original, that they just keep refurbishing them so they have lasted much longer than they ever should have. I've asked, and one of the VM guys just scratched his head and said that one tram was really, really old and he didn't know how else to explain it other than it had been a Disneyland tram, that my explanation for that made sense.

Next question, what method did they use to get it here? :D:

If we have any DL people that work parking or know someone that does, ask a Parking CM next time you're out there if they remember Cab number 9, and tell them where it ended up!

Good lord what DID I start? The captions are entertaining. :D: HEY MOD PPL, Is it ok to do a weekly/monthly thing.? What forum should we put it in? Can there be prizes? Whose photos should we/could we use? Obviously not copywrited ones. What do you think? I have been really bored and want something to do.
