Stupid Guest Tricks

Ok I am making this as a way to point out things that are obviously bad show in our parks. Please put descriptions and pictures. Please be specific...
#1-The Land Boat Ride
I have reached my "look the other way" capacity on my own attraction. A coordinator at work told me that the ride was not going to get a refurb/new boats/costumes anytime soon because it was considered to be "unimportant". Thanks a lot @$$! Our boats are in horrible shape. They sink all the time. Audio cuts in and out. Not to mention the paint is horribly chipped! They are disgusting and management simply looks the other way. Our costumes? Terrible!!! That putrid green shirt with "Save The Earth" all over it makes me look like I got off the bus from the Salvation Army Store. The jacket makes me look like I'm wearing a life vest with it's little plastic clips. If GMR can get new costumes when it's are perfectly fine, why can't we get some when we are in desperate need?

Who's got #2?

#2 - Innovations at Disneyland (and maybe Epcot, I have to see it first). I'm sorry, but a lone segway buzzing around the floor and a Japanese robot released 3 years ago does not really count, IMO, as a valid presentation of the future.

Thank goodness they're renovating it.

With so many good companies and schools doing so much R&D it's become very hard to stay up with the future. When I started with my last company, we had two distinct product lines that required two groups of specialists. When I left four years later the two physical platforms had eight specialist groups. Between customer driven requirements and technology advances it's probably at twelve or beyond.

Innoventions is old, stale and no fun anymore. It has been the same two different trips we came a couple years apart It is bad show and needs to go! They could put a really cool attraction in there.
Actually all of DL's Tomorrowland needs a good rehab. They need to keep a few really good anchor attractions, like Space and maybe, Autopia, but freshen that up with hybrid cars, and raze the rest. Let the Imagineers do what they paid to do, Imagine! What a concept!

Get some new attractions and update the old Tomorrowland. That used to be the FIRST Land we went to, it was so much fun. Now we rarely even get over there, except to go to see if they have any different pins in their stores than the rest of the Park! Really.

I cannot believe that they have let Tomorrowland go so long without new attractions. it is old, stale and boring. Course that is my opinion. Some may still like Hista and Buzz (whick belongs in DCA, AKA Pixar Park) :twisted:

Bring back the People Mover, even Adventure Through Inner Space would be a cool attraction. There are many young ones who never got to experience the sheer joy of being *shrunk* and going into a snowflake. That big ole' eye looking at you going in was way too cool. Of course that being my favorite all-time attraction has NOTHING to do with it. ;) Most of Tomorrowland is bad show, to me at least. :(

I agree, bring back some of the old ones (with an update) Dsiney should send some of its people to the technology show in Las Vegas. They should be able to come up with some ideas there!! Tomorrow land is quickly turning in SCI-FI land Maybe a "Twilight zone" theatre type attraction, could tie in with TOT!

I agree Susi. They took out the keel boats, sky ride, motorboats, america circlevision, mission to mars and other stuff. It is down to a long alley with the rocket ride and star tours. They been stripping Disney of rides and restaurants and not repairing the old stuff like the leaking Honey I shrunk the audience building. Some things could be easy like repainting the entrance to the ladies bathroom at city hall but nope they just let the park rust then paint over the rust.
