Alan Ralsky and 10 others indicated in international spamming and stock fraud scheme. Alan Ralsky was a really bad spammer. I recall he was raided by the FBI a year or so ago and went silent. Anyway, if they can get some jail time on this it'll be good :)

Guess they will learn the value of a dollar. (I think the current wages in the unicor prison industries is about 17 cents an hour!!)

Prisoners from the local federal prison do landscaping and similar work at the local military bases. The average worker there gets around 6 cents an hour (more if they know how to operate a backhoe or similar machinery) I found out one time talking to a guy that came into my work who works for the company that transports and supervises the prisoners.

We had a guy up the hill who obviously had more money then brains. His drug fueled parties usually started at 3 AM. Turned out his company was spamming AOL's network. AOL sued and won a $5 mil judgment. Jeremy split the country and rumor has it he's hiding out in Costa Rica. Couldn't happen to a nicer guy.

probably true. The ones that have "skills" making desks, and other office decore (at certain federal prisons) get a bit more. They make a lot of things that federal agencies have to buy. The used to even make ballistic vests for law enforcement, until they found some that the kevlar had been replaced with felt, and others where they kevlar panels were sewn together with the threads all running the same way. (Kevlar gets if ballistic defeating properties from the panels being sewn with the panes "cross" threads, every other panel ninety degrees) Hmmm wonder how that happened!

I know there was a guy in Hawaii that the Texas attorney general went after. The only spammer with the name of Jeremy is Jeremy Jaynes from VA. He's in the poky for 9 years.
