Stupid Guest Tricks

Hey Folks, It's my first day off since I came back last thursday and man do I have some stories!!!
NYE was INSANE!!! Soarin' got up to almost 4 hours and we had to put the line outside in the backstage area to keep it out of Sunshine Seasons. The boat ride got up to 70 minutes and circle of life was loading FULL shows. Stroller parking was insane and then it started to rain. Everyone tried to bring their strollers inside and I missed a few. All the ones I did catch began to bitch at me that they saw other strollers inside. In fact there was a lady I argued with for about 5 minutes who eventually came and found me to tell me that their were strollers inside and that I was singling her out because she was Indian. I just snapped, but politely of course. I said "Ma'am I have been here since 8 AM and I will be here till 12 AM. I am doing the best I can to catch everyone but I am only human and I missed a few. I caught you and it is my responsibility to see that everyone follows the rules. It has nothing to due with race. If you want to take this any further, go see Guest Relations." Then on top of that SSE evaced in the middle of the day.
i got bitched at by people who wanted their money back because it was so crowded. I snapped again "Sir, this is our busiest day of the year. MK just closed to capacity and we are getting close to starting phased closings, you can go see GR and they will sympathize but will be pretty unlikely to give you a refund because it was crowded." People are insane!!! I am going to DAK today to relax for a little bit. See ya'll later!

What suprises me is that they KNOW its going to be crowded, and they still complain? true SG. Lookes like you at least maintained as much as you could! Go see the flying bonogs and take the tour!

Glad you survived to report on the chaos. Someone at Knott's posted about a guest using the Race Card. All that time she spent haranguing you meant a bunch of rule breakers that you could not take care of. Nice for kids to hear adults acting that way.

You and me both, the idea that you could go through the thousands there, just to find someone to be prdjuice toward is beyond logic.

They need to give you guys squirt bottles with ice water to spray on them. Give them a wake up call!! (hey it works on the grumpy pups!)

That would be so freakin halarious!! I would pay to see that. I'll be there in May and I'll bring my daughter's mickey ice water sprayer with us. :twisted: Psst....Heeeyyyy!! :twisted:

HAHA! Just think, you spot a SG being rude to a CM. Innocently you hand the ICE COLD water sprayer to them to hold for a moment and they can claim they didnt know how the thing worked and just "happened" to spray the SG with it.

Or even better, you can innocently hand it to a young child to "play with" of course in the direction of the SG

See now we are creating a new fun game, "Splat the SG!!"

and I agree about the wait. if you couldn't get a fastpass because they were out, then so long.. we can find other stuff to do! And I'll bet the ones waiting that long became SG's !!! The idea of pitching a fit at the CM's over crowds? COME ON!! jeeze I know they are stoopid, but even that is silly. Thats it we need a new designation: "Super Stupid Guest" when even an SG would call them stupid!

Well, it is very good you survived the SGs, but you just know there are going to be more of them. They seem to breed like bunnies. That is just so typical of these asses who think they are NOT getting away with what everyone else supposedly is.
The race card, I wonder how many times that was used on NYE! Probably hundreds....

I just wish these ignoramuses HAD to do Guest Service at Disney for just one shift each at City Hall. Boy, they would get a taste of their own bitter medicine. Jags. Course they would NOT learn a thing from the experience.
