for years I thought the singer of the theme had a beautifull voice. now I found HIS music video and have mixed feelings.
I thought it was a GIRL. also, the 11 year old girl who was the childlike empress grew up to be a famous dancer in euorpe.

most of the actors were german, so I am not sure.
Noah Hathaway went on to become a bitpart actor, I think.

I love that movie, am not surprised by the singer. Very Eighties look and style and voice. Listen to AHA, "Take on Me" (It is at youtube as well and probably my all time favorite music video from my MTV watching days of the 1980s) and you get the same vibe. I played so much of this type of eighties new wave pop when I was on the air. So many of those singers that sounded like girls, were guys. Most of em were. Or a combination of both!

Boy George comes to mind....as well as some other of the eighties singers.
I still love that movie and the flying dragonhorsecreature... :D:

well, it was made in germany and I guess what ever of Falkor
survived after production when there. I wish Hensons Creature Shop had a museum. out here Debbie Reynolds ended up with a 1st gen Miss Piggy that she put on display and I used to go there just to look at it.
