So a guy comes in and orders triple scoop cup of chocolate ice cream
with hot fudge. Then he orders a DIET COKE! I just ask myself, "Why?"

My guess is the person is diabetic. It takes food a while to break down but soda with sugar goes right into your veins. Might as well use a syringe.

Over at Burger Invasion, I had a guest order a Double Cheeseburger with NO CHEESE! She was a blonde...

That sounds like something my dad would do.
People actually believe that drinking Diet Drinks does something; my dad has been drinking diet colas for a long time, and he's gained a lot of weight since then too.

When I was growning up my mom was a diabetic and I grew up drinking diet soda. After drinking that for so long I'm unable to drink regular soda because the taste is so thick and way too sweet.

I'm among the "guilty" who drink diet sodas with junk food. Hey, I'm not kidding myself, and I don't think the diet drinks offset the bad stuff. But I don't mind the taste of them, so why add to the junk by drinking a full-sugar cola?

I'm not a stick, but I'm not really large either, and I love junk food. I almost ALWAYS get diet cokes or whatever. I'm not dilousional (sorry, can't spell), but I really just prefer the taste of diet. Regular colas are a bit too sweet for me.
But those people who are obese and get a jumbo supersized triple cheesebuger with extra fries, and think a diet coke will still help them loose weight... that's absurd!
