Heading Home, Part One

Good morning all, I am writing from the Admiral's Club at JFK. I've been up since about 1 and my flight isn't until 8:15. I am heading to North Carolina, my "new" home. My parents moved there about a month after I left Texas to go to NYU. I had to take Long Island Railroad from Penn Station to Jamaica and switch to the Airtrain that takes me to JFK. For $10 it wasn't too bad. It would certainly be nice in Orlando. I got to the airport SUPER early and of course it seems like there are tons of SGs everywhere.
Self Check-In
"My baggage tags haven't printed out yet!!!!"
Agent: "That's because you are at the wrong counter, you checked in at machine 6, you are at counter 8."
Security
"What do you mean I can't take my shampoo???"
TSA Person: "Ma'am it's been this way for about a year..."
Admirals Club
"Why did you put Ice in my apple juice???"
Bartender "It was kinda warm so I thought you would like some ice"
"You thought wrong..."
Don't people know how to travel? I swear, everywhere I go I do my best to say thank-you and ask people how their day is. It's nice to make them feel human while they are at work. I had a nice conversation with the bartender who was really nice, especially for 6:00 in the morning. I spoke some spanish with her, probably butchering most of it (I am kinda out of practice, Damn you French I!). Sigh. I am looking forward to Part two of my journey which involves my dear mother driving with me to Florida in a week. It's getting closer! YAY!!! Well I should probably move on...I've never been to JFK before I want to explore. Have a good day everyone!
