I'm floating...

...on air right now about my upcoming Land/Sea trip.
I thought I'd scored a coup when I got a fireworks cruise ressie for New Year's Eve. I think that's just been topped!
Disney Cruise Line called me this afternoon, wanting if possible to move me and my in-laws from our Category 4 staterooms to make room for more cruisers. (There are four of us in one stateroom and two in the other, and the staterooms hold five people each.) We were given two options -- one, be bumped to Cat 5 staterooms that sleep four (but which would actually have greater square footage, since the rooms are handicap-accessible). This option would come with a substantial refund, as instead of Cat 4 prices they'd charge us only 75% of the Cat 5 price!
Still, we passed on that option. The second choice was better...
In less than three weeks, we will actually be staying in the best accomodations on the ship: the Walt Disney Suite!!!!!!!!
:D:
:D:
On our first family cruise in 2003, we had an upgrade to Cat 3 suites. My father-in-law's first comment to me today when he heard about this new upgrade was, "How does this keep happening to you???" :) I have no idea, but I'm certainly not complaining!!!
