Bad Day...getting better?

Hey everyone. Today started out really bad. I found out I was rejected from an on-campus job as a tour guide. Apparently wanted a different "type" of applicant... That was the last straw. I rolled over and went back to sleep, intent on being emo for the rest of the day. Then I decided to do some investigation into what is going on with my schedule for after Christmas. I couldn't get a hold of any of my managers, the secretary for FWW, or my CSM. The person at Casting was sympathetic but couldn't really help. Instead they turned me over to labor ops. I talked to the scheduler for my area and he said he did receive an e-mail regarding me and that I was set to be scheduled for after Christmas. But get this! He also said there was some talk about me getting cross-trained!!! There is manager who was on her TA this summer from GR and I put in a good word for her on the CES, which helped her to get statused, who is now in charge of training!!! Hopefully she will allow me to help them out during CP changeover!!! LOL! But I am not getting my hopes up, lest I be crushed again and feed myself to the alligators... :(
I'll let you know.

Always have an alternate or backup plan.

Keep at it, now good things do come to those who wait.

Balance it though.

The squeakly wheel gets the grease, but the buzzing mosquito gets slapped.

We can only hope.
As for that Mosquito, I am afraid of being that too. But I am also a believer of "I will not go quietly into that good night!!!" But balance is important... I'll let you know, keep some appendages crossed that you guys will get to see me in that sharp blue suit...
