Too much?

Okay, last year I added a "Mickey" wreath to the exterior of our house:

This year we have a new tree and we'd tossed out our old, tattered angel tree-topper with the old tree. As I was putting up the tree, my boys laughingly suggested we put their stuffed Stitch at the top. And what started as a joke, became this:

(Since Stitch likes coffee, the wings and halo are made from coffee filters.)

So... have I gone off the deep end Disney-wise? (And is this the wrong crowd to ask that question??? :D :)

IS there a deep end? I don't think so.

Of course this is from the guy that doesn't have a livingroom in his appartment because it immediately became the toy monorail layout room.

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO SLEEEEEPEEEEENG!!!!

Sorry. Whenever that little bastard is mentioned now, I have flashbacks to a vast majority of the wake-up calls I got at Port Orleans Riverside this last week. By the end of it, I wanted to strangle the little guy. I'm glad the one time I saw him in person, there was a huge line of children waiting to hug him. I can't beat down a character in front of kids...

So, yes, my vote is you've gone waaaay too far. Sorry. Just my opinion. On the other hand, my favorite wake-up call I got was Grim Grinning Ghosts (music from the haunted mansion). I stayed on the phone just to listen for a while because I was enjoying it so much... So I guess all us Disney nuts have our own little quirks, huh? (So I guess that means I'm also voting that this is the wrong crowd to ask that question of...) :p:

A local mall does a yearly festival of trees with many different decorated trees being displayed and judged (and procedes going to charity). One I enjoyed was one with the pointed end of the tree down and the trunk up. If you do that you could put a small monorail loop supported by the top (tree bottom) branches. :D:

LOL.....I love it. So totally tacky and different. I have been racking my brains for a tree topper for my Disney tree (yes we have more then one themed tree up) I finally settled on a lit up snowflake with a Mcdonald's Tink in the middle. I want the real Tink topper but cant afford her so I have to improvise.
I was going to put a stuffed Minnie up there dressed like an angel but it got confiscated back by the very short owner. Hmmm...wonder if I can sneak Stitch up there and she wont notice? Lord knows I have enuf coffee filters. Maybe I can put him hovering over the tree like an avenging angel. Mind if I borrow the idea BR?

I LOVED that wake-up call!! Of course, I never use their wake-up calls to wake up. I like to be alert enough to enjoy them, so I set them to call well after we're already awake but still in the room. :D:

Ah, "tacky and different." That is my goal in life. In fact, that would be a great thing to have carved on my tombstone. :)

Absolutely feel free to use the idea!

Oh Wombat all I have to say is you are a good poppa, Awwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww....... It is so cute! I would want you for a daddy anyday, (if I was a kid!!) :D:
And haven't we all really gone off the deep end. Regular folks who just go to Disney for a trip once in a while don't post at Disney boards, don't own a bunch o' Disney memorabilia and *stuff* and don't spend every waking hour thinking bout their next Disney trip, right? So you are in good company here.... :break:
susi*off into the deep end with all of us!*slicker

BRW, my WHOLE house is a shrine to all things Disney...What you did NOT see in the pics of my home at our website is the fact that it was staged for pics and after everyone left, ALL the Disney stuff came out.... :D: of course when we have a showing we put it all away, so nothing *walks* out the front door..It happens and Disney memorabilia sells real well on eBay these days...But usually EVERY room has Disney in it, and I have a Disney room in and of itself. That one has stuff that would be hard to carry out if you tried to get it through the front door, These items wil NOT fit in a purse or under a coat! No one gets away with my Disney stuff. *Ma Susislicker steps up with her sawed off and stands guard by the Disney Room door...* ;)
