Just a taste...

I worked an "attraction" at my church's Fall Fest a few nights ago, managing the line for a... well, it's hard to describe, but basically a variation on a rock-climbing wall, where the kids are strapped into a harness and climb a 25-foot "palm tree." Managing the line was work enough, but I was tasked with closing the queue and turning people away near closing time.
I only had to guard the line for 15 minutes or so, and no one was rude or obnoxious (although a few tried to sweet-talk me into letting them in), but it was still not a lot of fun having to smile and disappoint people. It gave me enough of a taste of the life of a CM to make me admire you all even more! I'm perfectly content to not do that job again until next year, and you guys do it day after day, with the added "bonus" of rude, obnoxious, entitled SGs.
God bless you for the job you do. I couldn't do it on a regular basis!
