Stupid Guest Tricks

I'm back from Disneyland, had a great time, thanks everyone. I was wondering if anyone knew what happened Saturday afternoon, the 13th about 3:30 pm. I was riding the train and we were at Tomorrowland, they said we were delayed, had a red light which we had at every station. I was on the train with the forward facing seats, I think thats the fourth train, we sat there quite a while and they said they didnt know how long the wait would be and we could get off the train if we wanted to. Then we heard sirens heading to the front of the park. I waited about 10 minutes and then I heard a Mickey Premium calling me so I got off the train, ate my ice cream and headed over to buzz and the train was still sitting there. then on my way to buzz I heard them on the PA system asking some lady to call guest services and I have only heard this happen twice counting this time, once on each coast so that usually means something serious has happened.

Well, 3:30 is parade time, with floats crossing the tracks. The other stuff could definitely be unrelated.

From what I remember they would have said it was because of the parade and would have told guests when the trains were running again. I have never got stuck in Tomorroland for a parade just Toontown and they told us the train was stopping there.

Could be a slow train that haven't left the station yet. They can't not depart until the train before them has left the station and arrived at the next destination.

It was there for a good 30 minutes pus they were calling for a lady on the PA to call guest services. We were delayed a couple of minutes at each station but this was a long time.

Is that a joke? (Cause I'm laughing, but I'm not sure if I understand...)

Sorry, typo, PLUS +++++ they were calling a lady on the PA and instructing her to call guest services. I have heard they do not ever page people at Disney parks but I have heard them do it twice now, once on each coast. This makes me think there was some kind of emergency.

We will find out in a year when the video comes out. Normally if a train breaks they let guests off and then take the train backstage. If it is a parade or fireworks then they have a set routine and tell guests exactly what to expect.

They do on rare occassions page guests. It would have to be of extreme importance though. I would not remember because it would not have been important to me at the time.
