Stupid Guest Tricks

This came off of Board X, I would like to share:

The guest was on Indy and lost her purse. She fought with the attractions CMs to get it off the tracks and lost, so she came to City Hall. She told us she needed it right now because she was diabetic and needed her insulin, which was in the purse. We told her we would do what we could, but that the soonest we MIGHT be able to get it to her would be about 45 minutes, b/c we would have to E-stop the attraction, evac everyone off, go through and find it, bring it to City Hall, ...the whole bit. She yelled at us that she needed it in the next 5 minutes. We went around and around with her for at least 20 until we finally got an attractions manager over so she could yell at HER for a while. THEY went around and around for a while until the manager finally relented and agreed to go E-stop Indy on a Saturday and find the lady's purse. She left, the lady returned to yelling at us while she waited, and when the manager came back, I've never seen anyone look so pissed off in all my life.

Turns out the lady made it up, the only thing in the purse was some Tylenol. That was the end of the lady's day at Disneyland, but only the start for us since we then got bombarded with complaints from people who got evac'd off Indy.

That is one of the worst SGT's I have heard about in a while. On an attraction that already has a good wait time on the weekends, to insist on shutting down the attraction, that's sick on many levels, unless you did have that insulin there and might die without it.

Ejecting her from the park is really the least that should have been done at that point. Is she banned as well? I would like to hear that she is. One lady, for a purse that didn't have anything important in it, inconvenienced what, hundreds of people?

Wow, what a bitch. Kind of person for whom you look forward to their meeting with the Grim Reaper, just to get them off the planet. :mad:

Too bad you couldn't give this 'females' name to all the other guests that got hosed. THAT would have been some fun to watch. :twisted:

That is just sick! What a loser! Well, thanks to SGs like her, we have this board! I would like to see a good mob lynching, Darph. Have not since the scene in Beauty and the Beast! :belle: :beast: You could use the whole section of violent smilies to describe what should be done to that SG! :twisted:

Mom has diabetes. When she was first out of the hospital i made sure I had the testing equipment on me as well as her medicine. My purse never left me when we were out. If I was carrying medicine or medical equipment necessary for my life sustenance the I would either leave it with someone or hold on really really tight.

I'm all for public ridicule. Should have had her stand at the exit of the ride and tell every guest that was being escorted off that she was the reason why the ride was shut down.

That is just so Stooopid! (I know, hence the name!) too bad WDW can't fine these people, or how about a "reverse" magical dreams? Where "dreamkillers" take away things from you when you go the the parks, because your were an SG.

besides, wife of a co-worker was diabetic, she had a little kit that strapped to her belt, a small pouch that had the insulin (I think it was a pre-loaded dose), and a little "cold pac" that kept it cool all day) She was really adament about keeping it with her, as she had some "problems" in the past while shopping, etc.

In the instance of the SG, why didn't disney security help her with the tylonal suppositories?

Dreamkillers....I LOVE it!!! But in a way they would be dream makers too because it is my dream to see SGs like that lady get their comeuppance. Seeing her in stocks getting pelted with rotten produce by disgruntled guests would be worth even more than spending the night in Cindy's castle.
