Great bus driver, lifeguard & Donald @ Epcot

Just returned from a wonderful stay at WDW & had to write in case our terrific bus driver reads this. We were heading back to our hotel AKL & we had a bus driver named Mike who was great! He was cracking us up with jokes & really made the trip fly by. I even made a silly comment about stupid guests & he said "you said it I didn't". My 5 year old has been telling one of his jokes all day "What do you find when you turn your nose inside out? Fingerprints!" There was a lifeguard at the AKL pool who had to jump in and "save" a child who had their younger sibling on their back pulling them down. He was soo nice & I could NOT believe how many parents think that b/c there are lifeguards around they don't have to watch their kids. I even spotted this lifeguard out of costume doing some of the crafts.

Oops I almost forgot Donald at Epcot (he sells the parade items) he noticed my daughter handing out glow necklaces & gave her 2 Tinkerbell pins - one to keep & one to giveaway. We had never seen or heard about these pins. She had a tough time deciding who to give the other one to but when a man moved so she could see illuminations she gave it to him.

Thanks to all the cast members we came in contact with for making our trip magical!

You know, I have a friend who rode with this same Mike last night, if you rode with the one I am thinking of. He is a funny guy. You should have seen him the night he went off property. Actually got a GSF out of it.

I smell a good story behind this one! Give.

Unless of course you're withholding evidence to protect those currently suspected of innocence.

Not a big deal, Zazu, except that he went off property, and when he finally made it to the resort, a couple managers were there to do damage control. Because Mike was putting them at ease, and telling them about how, when they got home, they needed to tell everyone their story of being kidnapped by an idiot, he kept them laughing. The managers were very impressed. I would have had the same thing my time off property if I had stayed away long enough for a GSM to get there before I did.

But Mike is a good guy, and his heart/mind is in the right place for working at Disney World. He's not someone I've had the time or inclination to spend time with (although I would thoroughly enjoy his humor once I have enough drinks in me), I respect him for his entertainment of his guests.
