One way I keep track of breaking Disney news is through stockbroker AG Edwards financial reports. Any time the word 'Disney' appears in their 'Market Movers' news items, I get a text message.
At 1:00 p.m. yesterday, this came across their wire:
LOS ANGELES (MarketWatch) -- Walt Disney Co. (DIS) Chief Financial Officer Thomas Staggs said Monday there were plans by the company to develop another major theme park in the United States in the "foreseeable future." ...
Then, at 2:19:
LOS ANGELES (MarketWatch) -- Walt Disney Co. (DIS) Chief Financial Officer Thomas Staggs said Monday there were no plans by the company to develop another major theme park in the United States in the "foreseeable future." ... (Corrects to say Staggs said no new U.S. theme parks were planned.)
Arrrggghh!

Just a way for them to artificially inflate the stock price by 0.25 in the hopes that no one read the second blurb. Happens all the time.

Just reread this post BRW. You get a TXT from your stockbroker???

You have 20 breaks a day & a stockbroker? Man, sounds like Garland has set you up well. Or....have you set Garland up? :D: J/K

Choose the sarcastic response:
1. I'm independently wealthy from my chain of llama farms.
2. I didn't say I had any money invested. Anyone can set up a text message from AG Edwards. And I'm namedropping them to look like a big shot.
3. Hey, look, a flower!!!
