Stand down, we have dropped the alert. The first day that the revamped HM is open, and it is good. I will not spoil anything for thouse of you who have not seen it, but I will let you know that I was impressed with what they did. Also the fear that they would add Eddie Murphy would be added were untrue. So I guess I can release the "Enemies of Murphy" web address.

Can I also infer that ms Leota Toombs has retained her exalted position as the "head" of the class? :D:
I am not afraid of change and upgrade/update, but when either results in a downgrade of show I tend to object strenuously. Glad to hear that in your opinion this has been avoided this time around.
As usual I will reserve judgement until I see for myself (about 3 weeks from now). :D:

Yep, perfect time of year to open a major attraction: The Slow Season!

Actually, by opening it now, it gives them time to tweek any changes that need it before the "fast season" begins (fast as opposed to slow). :) And of course it gives some of us who rarely get to see something before 6 months of spoilers and picking over any changes have taken place. I ONLY go in the off season and so I rarely ever see anything before it has been picked clean. The last was Test Track which I managed to ride durring the cast preview when I had a friend in the cast give me a thrill and take me as his guest. :D:
And yes the "thrill" WAS the ride, not the Cm friend. He's just not my type (male). :D:

Since my trip in Nov has been canceled I wont get to see it anytime soon, maybe next year. Someone from one of the fan boards rode it several times and took a bunch of flash pics and posted then on the board so we got to see some of the changes and I know at least one person has also posted a video but I didnt go look at it. Sounds to me like they did a great job, they have added some of the effects we have had at DL and more we hope to get at DL next year.

Hey, I wasn't complaining or being sarcastic, I really do believe this is a perfect time to reopen a classic. This way, word gets out that it's open, as you said people like us can go see it before having the first-time experience ruined with too much information, and yes, they can tweak.
I actually wish EVERYTHING was opened during the slow seasons.

And if we are talking about the same fan boy, apparently he was crucified for posting flash pictures of a dark ride. And those same crucifiers would have complained about how dark the pictures were if he didn't use flash.

Aww man I didn't realize that was opened now....I was actually on property on a day off today so I would have headed over and checked it out. I am sure tomorrow at work I am going to hear all about it from other people. Would be great if they got some more air circulation going in that cue line, can't believe thats the first thing I thought of for an update I am weird sometimes. Maybe I should see how late they are open and drive back over there.
