But he was tall enough yesterday!

CM: I'm sorry pardner, but you just ain't tall enough to ride Splash Mountain yet.

Guest: Of course he's tall enough! He was tall enough to ride Big Thunder just yesterday!

CM: Ma'am, Big Thunder has been closed for a week now -- there's big chunks of track missing. I don't believe anybody rode it yesterday. Besides, he's still too short today.

Guest: What? Are you calling me a liar?

CM: No ma'am, I'm only saying you're the mother of somebody too short to ride. (Silently: or some kind of mother, anyway...)

Guest: What? Are you calling me a liar?

Me: (big smile) Of course not! You're just wildly inaccurate! And very much confused...

No, I'm not calling you a liar - you're doing a fine job of doing that, yourself...

- or -

No, there's no need for me to call you a liar. (meaning it's so f*ing obvious you're a liar, there's no need to point it out) Also works with, "Now why would I do that?"

I love it when they argue that the kids rode yesterday. At splash I tell them the kids probably shrank from getting wet. Not totally unbelievable! Have you seen the water? When the parents get really pissed off I usually turn it around and tell then that instead of getting upset that their child is too small to ride, perhaps they should be more concerned that their too small child rode the ride at all. 9 times out of 10 they didn't ride at all and it makes them think about their childs safety rather than just having a good time. Also had someone swear that they had bought a picture of their kid on the ride from the day before. I told them that was a neat trick as owl photo was closed all day due to a broken camera. They weren't too happy about that. Always great to catch them in a lie.

I used to love it when I worked in the kiddie area of PGA and I would later would pull a double-shift and get moved to another area such as load/unload at the Demon. I would see the kids that were short enough to ride the rides in Fort Fun in the morning trying to convince me later that they were tall enough for the Demon.

My favorite thing was the lady who demanded my name, told me she was going to file a complaint, yelled that she was going to sue and was told off by another guest for threatening me.

I think that's variable...
