Fisrt off as many of you know Sunday Sept, 2 was one of the HOTTEST
days of the year(ODV and Custodial I feel for you really). I was
running ice cream over at Burr-bank when I see three guests huddled
over a map try to figure out what to do next. I decided to lend a
helping hand. Big mistake! First off they start asking me about shows
so I point out the this was the last day for Blast and they should
not miss it. If I was going to miss the last show at least I would
feel better that I knew they would see it. after telling them about
other shows (they didn't seem to want to know about rides), they ask
about something over at that other park, they want to know where it
is. I tell them over it's over at Disneyland.
They respond, "This isn't...?"
"No. This is Disney's Califonia Adventure. We're two separate parks"
"Then how do we get there?"
"Exit the park. Cross the plaza and you're there."
"You mean it's across the street?"
"No." Using hands to show the parks locations(because the map was not
help to them), "the two parks face each other it's right there. may I
see your tickets please?"
I check their tickets to see if they got the DCA promo deal.
"I'm sorry you bought the our special promotional tickets. It's seem
you ladies are stuck here. Enjoy your ice cream and your day."
I then propmtly went back to work. I had spent ten minutes with these
special guests.
P.S. Disney must be getting desparate to trick guests into DCA
