OK..where is it?

I need to vent. I have just spent the past 45 minutes searching thru the mess I call a living room. (currently a Disney craft room and usually a toy dump room) looking for a good size piece of white cotton material I needed to finish off some of the custom shirts I am making for the trip. I can not find the darn stuff anywhere. ARRRGGHHHHHH!!!!!!!
I know I had some left from the last time I used it and put it with the other material I had sitting there waiting for other projects I was planning on doing. This is driving me up the wall. Whose's the culprit? Who wanted white material? Come on, fess up?
Thank you listening to the rambles of a scattered brained old lady. I now return you to your regularly scheduled forum.
BTW...YEP we are those ppl you see with matching shirts, we look cute(fat but cute)

Darn! I knew I should have looked there first.
I still cant find the stupid stuff. I give up. I have a feeling the toy monster kidnapped it and took it to the "play-room-that- threw- up" and used it for a blanket. She claims not to have but who knows. Eh! I will make her dad stop at Wally world and buy more tonite. We need garbage bags anyway.

Refrigerator
Freezer
under or on top of the microwave
in the laundry
behind the toilet
My record was one week at least and the keys were sitting on a book case. I walked by them everytime I left the room. They were in plain site.
I have had memory problems since birth and was born late because I forgot what time it was.

Oh, no where as bad as about a week ago. We keep paper/styro plates in a certain cupboard at all times. They have lived in that cupboard for close on a year now. BF makes himself something to eat and the kiddling breakfast(frozen waffles, etc.) Since it was a lazy day, no dirty dishes allowed. I go in about 1/2 hour later and cant find the plates.
"HONEY, where are the styrofoam plates?" (brand new 50 ct pkg, btw)
I put them back.
"They are not there, where did you put them?"
Meantime, I am searching every cupboard in the our very small kitchen, even looked in the fridge and the trash.
I put them back.
"They are not there, get out here and help me look"
**grumble grumble, Grumpy arises from the couch and sleps out to the kitchen.
He now blames the child. "i didnt touch them Dada" Mind you she was not even in the kitchen in that time frame.
He starts to look. I am now no longer hungry since over 10 minutes have gone by. He searches the same places I looked.
"I already looked there"
**grumble grumble
He opens the freezer----guess what was in there? *vix shakes her head in disbelief. "Why did you put them there?" His answer,
I forgot.
Of course I had to call his dad and tell him the whole story and after a lengthy conversation about nothing in particular, His dad asks to talk to him again cause he just wanted to tell him one more thing.
"SON, remember, styrofoam does NOT need to be chilled before using it"
THAT MADE ME LOSE IT. :hysteria:

Those things are hiding right in plain sight (like Churchy said)
So, Try looking right under your nose. :D:
Something that might help (no, really). Get someone else who is not used to the upheaval and ask them to take a quick look. You will be surprises what you might find that way! :p:

Of course it would be in the last place you look!!! You wouldn't kee searching to find what you already are looking for eventhough you already found it, would you?? :D:
THe places that something can be found is:
- on a table.
- in a drawer.
- in between the bed.
- on the bed.
- on the floor.
- in the basket.
- in the car.
- left at friends' house.

I finally did give up and went out today and got another yard of the stuff. I know I will find it now. Never fails.
HMMM...I wonder if you keep searching for something that you have already found that that it would be considered a paradox or some other time space continum term.?????
Cranbiz, I am seriously afraid of what would be found by someone else. :D:
OT>>>>leaving Wally World tonite after re-buying what I needed, I noticed an nice shiny rat/mouse catcher right inside the front door. EWWWWW! Guess they are trying to "find" something too.

I have found that the best way to find something is to buy another one. Guaranteed that you will find the first one after you have opened the packaging on the second.
