I reserve the right to throw you from the train.

Today I truely came close to tossing a guest from the monorail while traveling to epcot. :kaboom:
It all started when a six year old named Ashlyn (who I have no problem with just to assure you) asked to sit in the front cab with her mom and baby sister. I said that this was fine and seeing her birthday pin I wished her a happy birthday and let them in. As we got ready to go I noticed that Ashlyn was starting to get nervous at the view. (Now please understand that this is not what got to me) At this point I was steped out of the cab to close the unload doors and when I reentered I found out that the party had expanded. Behind them was mister :dope: who simply walsed in without a care in the world and had seat. He simply saw that there were three people and decided to invite himself tho the party. Now usually when dealing with a young girl in a small family I hold the open seat for convienence sake, but he got in without complaint form the family so I thought that I would say nothing more.
No sooner than we had left the station then he started asking very rediculous questions like, "has this ever crashed?" or "had this ever fallen from the beam?" and the like. WHich started to make matters worse in terms of the little girls state of mind. From that point, I tried to steer the conversation elsewhere, but he brought it right back to crashes. So I tried to drop a few hints like ignoring his questions and assuring little Ashlyn that we wouldn't crash, but all he did was keep asking louder. Finally when I had enough I finally told him that he was out of line and needed to stop Which he did. finally. At that point the ride was almost over and we pulled into epcot shortly after.
Then, after I was unloading my train and about to pull out of the station my cab door was pulled open by :dope: SR and his Mother Ms. :dope: , so that he could yell at me about ignoring his son and how dare I speak to him and tell him that he was wrong. I couldn't care and left them on the platform annoyed.
My problem is this. :dope: had to be at least 18. (I say this because her had a scruffy goatee and faceal hair. And he must have known what he was doing because he seemed to try harder when he got a responce from the little girl. I have to wonder was he trying to scare her and if so who does this sort of thing?

Was I wrong, and if so what should I have done.?

who does such a thing as young mr. :dope: did? someone who was trying to do exactly as you thought he was trying to do...he saw it was making the little girl upset and he enjoyed that (there's no graphic here for sadist or a**hole..ok ok...so the less "disney" side of me is showing...but i have little patience for people who like to torture kids)...i know you have the power to toss people out of the park and i wish you could have done that to young mr. :dope: and his whole :dope: :dope: family...if it comes up in the future you might think about whispering (maybe a little loudly) that if the improper questions don't stop you'll have to call security when you arrive at the station and they will be happy to answer the sg's questions (on the way out of the park)...i can almost guarantee that there will be silence...
it's another case of a misplaced sense of entitlement...they figured they paid their money and should be allowed to act like animals...HA! instead of epcot maybe they should have gone on to the wild animal kingdom where they would have felt more at home ;)
wow...dunno what's gotten into me today :soap:

Wow. That is horrible. You would think that he would get the hint.

Good thing I don't work for Disney, I'd have stopped, opened the door and told the SG that this was his stop and booted his ass. Then again, stopping would be too nice, can you open the cab door while moving

Grrrr.

Suggested response to his questions: "No & no, and so far, no one's fallen out of the train either. One more word from you, though, and you'll be the first!"

Dylan, you showed much more restraint than I would have. This :dope: is a perfect example of why certain people should'nt breed.
I would have suggested that he take the alternate route from the station via the third rail. :litning:
You could of asked him if he wanted to be the star of Disney's new movie "Throw Papa from the Train".
If he was on the bus I would have suggested that he lean on the rear doors to experience the newest E ticket attraction at WDW. The thrown from the moving bus attraction.

How dare he do that. I don't know that I would have restrained myself too well on that one. After telling him to shut up, I think I would have made Ashlyn the driver and put her in the seat.
Visually, if you don't recognize that the train hangs down over the beam about four feet (with all the support being around the beam, not just over it) I can see how that might be a bit scary. Up front you don't have the same visual cues you do in cars 2-5.
Oh, that's low. Playing on the fears of a little girl, especially on her birthday.
Could you give us a description of Dopey? If I see him, I would really like to hit him.

People like that guy make me sick. Honestly. I bet he was the kid that pulled legs off spiders and watched them squirm, swung cats by their tails to see if they'd tear off and used a pellet gun on dogs to see how loud they'd yelp. And I bet his parents were standing by the sidelines going. "That's my boy!"

Should have said "Yeah one crashed yesterday because of some stupid idiot like you talking to the driver and distracting him. NOW SHUT UP!!!!
Actually if it had been me I would have just ignored him and when he got louder, I would have said calmly. "You need to keep quiet so I can hear the radio. Thank You." Then even if his parents did go to your supervisor you would have been in the clear.
