Stupid Guest Tricks

So, yesterday I was in the park to meet a friends from Board X and I was in Fantasyland following the Nemo line when I came upon the entrance to the Matternhorn. The matterhorn was 101 and I saw some CMs at the front entrance, one Cm in a Fantasyland costume and TWO CMs in a Small World costume. I look again. At first I thought it was a little person wearing a Small World costume, but as I got closer, it was a CHILD wearing a Small World Costume. So, I saw a friend of mine at the Matterhorn entrance to confirm my observation and I was right. So apparently, the grandmother made several costumes for her ganddaughter and they are seen in the park in full costume. They are spotted in a Small World costume computer with a mini lead radio, a Fantasyland costume, and a Mary Poppoins costume complete in the white dress and bird umbrella!! I asked myself: "Why? Why?"

I took a few snap shots to prove it, but I will post them up later. I am in the process of uploading photos from my day yesterday at disneyland.

Mary Poppins I can understand. Like soo many other princesses to be, this is potentially the young girls favorite and she wants to be just like her.

Dressing as a CM?????? That one I don't understand. All that will do is get you questions from SG's.

When I go to the parks, incognito is my goal. The last thing I want to do is look like a CM.



In fact, at work today I was kinda incognito. I borrowed a page from Big Wallaby. Misplaced my name tag so I was Neil from Mansfield, MA. At least I know where Mansfield is and what's there. (My brother lives there)

Then I thought to myself, "OMG, THE DOLLS....................... THEY ARE ALLLLLLLLLLLLLLIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIVVVVVVVVVEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!" LOL :D

Oh lord, this is shades of the Prairie Girls. I wonder if one of them successfully married and reproduced if it was gramma making the costumes! Ugh. I remember the little brother in his miniature Thunder outfit - down to the Frye boots that we used to wear. Too creepy!

You CMs should be honoured that people would adore you and want to be like you. People focus on those things that make them happy and though it is wrong to imitate an employee at any business they do not see anything wrong. I doubt they would go to Burger King dress as an employee. Disney is a stage and people see it differently than they do other work places like Burger King, Macy's, Shoney's, IBM, law firm, medical clinics, and banks. People want to be part of the show and emulate the stars of that show.

Maybe they have something in their evil plan for the kids. Maybe they will get the kids so hyped on working for Disney that when they are old enough to work then the kids will run to Disney and get a job. At age 18 then bye bye kiddo and free bird momma.

I bet she'll be destined to work at Disneyland, Small World to be more specific. She'll go, "When my grandmother dressed me up in a Small World CM costume, I know I wanted to work for Disney!"

Wait a minute. As I remember, costumes aren't allowed to be worn in the parks, correct?

Yes, true, but that is just taking it waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay too far, be a CM?? Who would want to??

What do you mean like "costumes?" Like the princess costumes?? Or the CM costumes?? You can wear princess costumes, but you just wear CM costumes when you are off duty.

I wonder if they get stopped by security for wearing a costume that is provided by Disney.
