Is it me, or is it fitting this happened at the "Mad Tea Party" ride...
ORLANDO, Fla. — Cutting in line at the Magic Kingdom landed one visitor in jail.
Police said Victoria Walker accused another visitor of cutting the line for the "Mad Tea Party" ride. Reports said she punched Aimee Krause a few times in the head before the two could be separated.
Krause said she's had seizures, memory loss and blurred vision since the May attack.
Walker was allowed to return to her Alabama home, but a judge later issued a warrant for her arrest after hearing of the severity of the injuries.
She was taken to the Orange County Jail where she bonded out of yesterday.

What the f$#@?! Somebody cutting me in line might be annoying but I wouldn't beat them because of it. If this had to happen anywhere I could see it happening at (in MK) maybe one of the mountains but not Mad Tea Party of all places.

I'm suprised this doesnt happen more often the way people line jump. Guess Disney makes them behave.

Frankly, if someone started thumping a line jumper at my attraction, I'd grab the phone right away. I might even call 911... eventually.

This has a video of Krause talking about the incident and one of Walker's daughters discussing the incident. Walker's daughter says her mother was repeatedly pushed by Krause and that Walker is a church going and God fearing woman.

Krause is accusing WDW for not bring the Sherrif's Department immediately and is sure making a big deal out of this fracus.
This happened May 27, 2007
The battlers are:
Victoria Walker who is African-American, 5 feet 11 inches tall, 230 pounds, mother, and 51 years old.
Aimee Krause who is caucasian, 5 feet 5 inches tall and age 35.
Krause's child and another unidentified child with Aimee Krause.
Krause had in line with her a friend's two children and her two children (ages 6 and 7).
Walker accussed Krause of line cutting then started yelling and cussing. She shoved the two children the kicked Krause from behind. Walker then grabbed Krause from behind and began beating Krause. Walker did not stop until she was dragged off of Krause who sufferred a concussion, a herniated disc and post-traumatic seizures.
What is shocking is that kids were present and that adults ruined the day for other families and kids.

I thought that this was old news.
I'm glad that the judge did something as opposed to a slap on the wrists and to promose not to punch no more.
I do feel sorry for the kiddo's. They should not have had to see this.

Apparently Disney did not call the Sherriff right away and the Sherriff took a report and let Walker go home to Alabama. Krause lives in Florida near WDW. When the Sherriff Department heard her story and saw the list of injuries they realize that it was not just a couple of broads pushing and shoving. The witnesses are saying it was Walker pummelling, choking, scratching, and relentlessly attacking Krause like a rabid pit bull on a cat.
Because of new information and all the publicity that Krause is stirring up there had to be new felony charges filed. Walker was brought back to Orange country to face felony charges for doing permanant damage to Krause.
It is old news but now it is back in the new because of the arrest of Walker for the felony charges. Also her daughter and representatives are saying Walker is one of the church ladies who would not hurt a fly. Krause is playing the victim to the fullest. This is causing a debate on who is telling the truth and did WDW and Disney again fail to or refuse to allow the Sheriff to investigate throroughly the incident and get the proper evidence while witnesses were present.

my family and i go to WDW every year. i've seen groups of people cutting into a line, while there is one person holding the space. i can understand mom or dad holding the space while the other with one or two kids join up, but what is the policy at disney when one person holds a space and 10 or more join the line? also for any line cutting, what is the policy? does the CM have to witness it?
and w/regards to the news story, it's a whole situation out of hand and it's a shame that the police weren't called in promptly to get more eyewitness accounts of the incident.

I'm not sure if it's an official rule, but we all treat it as such, we generally allow one person per person in line. So, technically with dad in line and mom trying to join with 2 or 3 kids, that'd generally not be allowed. Now mom joining just dad with a kid who had to use the restroom is of course different cause when kids have to go, they have to go. Of course lots of people use the bathroom excuse once (probably legitimately) and then try it all the time. I can't tell you how many times I have had one person in line and a group of 5 or so adults and one or two kids trying to join them and they say the kid had to use the restroom. I'm sorry but I don't believe that it takes 5 adults to take one kid to the restroom.
As far as line cutting pretty much the CM has to witness it or else have basically the entire line say they cut. If it's just one group saying a group cut and that one denies it, you can't really take anyone's side so to speak. Although of course by not kicking them out of line you are kind of taking their side.
