To Spot A "Faker!"

Nothing pissed me off more when guests want to cheat the system to not having to wait in line. We just can't question them on their disability. We just have to observant. From teenagers renting wheelchairs to enter throught the fast pass line or exits to families arguing the content of their GACs.

Any ways on how to spot them out?

I always make a mental note of who was riding the wheelchair when they arrive, and check that it's the same person when they leave. I've used that to confiscate a couple of chairs mid-day. What surprised me was that they gave up the chair without a fight each time. :bikehit:

The other thing of course is to actually *read* the GAC. Some will be out of date, once I caught a blank one, and one family had a "use stroller as wheelchair" card, but no stroller or kid! :bawl:

I've seen this a few times,(at DL). Big Boys (footballers),tear-assing around in a wheelchair, slamming into to stuff, and laughing their asses off. Then of course there are the people who claim that they are 'photogenictally challenged' (ugly).

Hell,I suffer from,"My sons don't listen to me",give me a SGT Pass. :D:

I had a situation involving a wheelchair once. I was working with Pooh over at Pooh's Playground when a guy came over with 2 kids. He wanted to be brought to the front of the line because: "Grandma was in a wheelchair". Well, here's the thing- Grandma wasn't even coming up with them. And he got really miffed when I informed him that the lines are wheelchair-accessable. I get issues with the GACs a lot because people try to come to the front with cards that aren't meant for the character lines.

I had the same exact situation at the Astro Orbitor with a couple of kids with Grandma's GAC where Grandma was no where to be found. I had to ask them to get Grandma and she has to go on the ride to use the GAC.

people get so pissed when they show me a GAC card with the wheelchair stamp, the stroller=wheelchair, or the stairs stamp and I send them through the normal stanby line.

me: "our lines are 100% wheelchair accessable, so please wait in the stand-by line"
them: "but I don't have a wheelchair and I can't stand very long."
me: "I'm sorry but with the wheelchair stamp we are supposed to treat you as if you were in a wheelchair and our line is 100% wheelchair accessable"
them: "this is bullshit i'm going to talk to guest relations"

I called guest relations one day to ask them what they tell the guests at DCA, they said they tell them that the wheelchair stamp does nothing at about 98% of the rides

Does anyone have clarification of the GAC, what is the time limit they can use it for?? Is it they have wait the length of the line to use it. One time on Astro Orbitor a group of kids, I think, tried to use it again after they used it and got of the ride by exiting the gates and coming back again.

My understanding and the way I always do it is that to use it a second time they have to wait the length of the line. I don't know if this is an official rule for it but it's what I've always done and what pretty much everyone I know has done.
